    What number do I call if I have a billing question?

    Billing questions may be directed to the centralized business office at 704.384.7840, weekdays from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

    What if I have a medical emergency after hours?

    For a life-threatening emergency, dial 911 immediately. For any other urgent medical needs, call our office at 704-384-9960. After hours, a triage nurse or the on-call physician will be glad to assist you.  

    When will I receive lab results?

    You should receive notification of lab results by mail within three weeks of your test. If your results require immediate notification, we will contact you with your results. If instructed to do so by your physician, please call our office to obtain test results.

    On which holidays is Novant Health Pineville Primary Care closed?

    Our office is closed on the following holidays: New Year's Day, Good Friday, Independence Day (July 4th), Labor Day, Thanksgiving and Christmas.  

    How do I obtain a referral to a specialist?

    If you need to schedule an appointment with a specialist or for outside testing, please call our referral coordinators directly at 704-384-9970. Please allow a minimum of 72 hours to complete any insurance authorization. Retroactive approvals are not allowed.

    How do I obtain a prescription refill?

    When requesting a refill of a current prescription, please call your pharmacy and they will contact us. Please allow one working day for any medication refill. After office hours, the on-call physician will not refill medications.
